Color Schemes

One football team that has complimentary colors are the Denver Broncos their colors are blue and orange. These colors are across from one another on the color wheel. Orange is created when you mix the colors red and yellow together. Green can be created when the colors blue and yellow are combined. Purple can be made if you combine blue and red together. When you add white to a color this new color becomes a tint and if you add black to a color this becomes a shade. Neutral colors are colors that include equal parts of the primary colors these neutral colors are black, whit and sometimes brown.
There are three main types of color schemes used to create a web site these are analogous, complimentary and monochromatic. An example of a complimentary website is http://www.cchs.ccsd.k12.co.us/.
